Bri is a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides compassionate, collaborative, and affirming mental health counseling to individuals and relationships from all communities and walks of life. Bri has a particular focus on working with members of the LGBTQ+ community, individuals and relationships exploring kink and consensual non-monogamy, and those navigating the effects of religious trauma. Her approach recognizes the importance of identity, relationships, personal values, and lived experiences in the therapeutic process.
Bri primarily utilizes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Narrative Therapy, tailoring treatment to each client’s unique needs, goals, strengths, and personal story. She are committed to creating a therapeutic environment where clients can explore their experiences without judgment and develop a deeper understanding of themselves and the narratives that have shaped their lives.
Bri is also inspired by the potential of tabletop role-playing games as a creative and experiential therapeutic tool, particularly as a way to explore identity, practice new skills, build confidence, and engage with personal narratives in meaningful ways.
Bri is a member of the Alabama Counseling Association and serves as an acting member of the Chapter 4 ALCA Executive Board. She earned both their Bachelor of Science and Master of Education degrees from the University of Montevallo.
